“It is with much sadness that we are giving one months notice for our son to leave Starfish. It has been an extremely difficult decision for us but hopefully we’re making the right one. Now that we’ve moved house, Farnham is just that bit too far to come and we’d like him to get settled in with children in his neighbourhood so that he may grow up through the same classes with others. Both my Husband and I have been thoroughly impressed with the quality, passion and environment created at Starfish. This has really had a huge positive impact on our son and we believe this has contributed enormously to his early development. In particular, we have seen a significant improvement (on an already good starting point) since Sam took over the management of the school, through professionalism, parent involvement and information sharing. Suzanne and Gemma and all of the other staff inPufferfish have been amazing and really helped him grow into a little person of his own. He will miss being there as much as we will miss bringing him in and we hope he gets settled into the new place easily; but if not please have him back!!

“My children have attended Starfish Nursery since 2008 and have thoroughly enjoyed their time there.
The staff make it a really friendly, safe and welcoming environment for the children. They were very helpful when my children were settling in to nursery life at Starfish, which ensured my children’s settling in to nursery was very smooth.
The day at Starfish is well organised and there are a lot of varied activities during the day. The staff make excellent use of the outdoor enclosed garden and have fantastic outdoor equipment for the children. My son adores cycling the tricycles and watching the plants that he and the other children have planted, grow.
The staff follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. When I look at my son’s folder I have been amazed at the creative ideas for artwork and how well my childrens literacy and numeracy skills have developed.
The staff are always happy to discuss any questions I have had about my children’s day or development. Communication is clear between the staff and parents.” - a happy Mummy who still has her daughter with us
